My bookmark for Jalopnik still says “blog.Jalopnik.com”. I think that’s from back when they changed the format and nobody like it so they had 2 formats running simultaneously, one for regular “jalopnik.com” and the other as the “blog”.

Reminds me of how ugly the current logo is. It's like the Bangle era 7 series: at first you hate it but then you don't really notice it, then you see an E38 and you realize how terrible the Bangle is.
